Something big is in the works -- Coming July 9

On July 9, 2007, MacUpdate is going to launch something that is going to send ripples through the online Macintosh community. It's going to be one of the biggest events of 2007. As a token of fun, a snippet of one of the promotional graphics is previewed to the left of this paragraph. Can you guess what it is?

A search that doesn't suck?
If you have issue with the search, then post your comments in a blog post made about search please. We've asked for community help in letting us know specifically what search terms are giving you issues. And we've made changes to the search accordingly.
Perhaps the number is a kind of rating system (à la iusethis or Cool Mac Apps) , the blue bar is a visual representation of the number (and the blue counter is on the left because it's at zero), and the black is the background.
My question for Mr. Mueller is: will this launch be integrated into MacUpdate or will it be a separate entity?
Also, can we expect more hints in the future? I'm excited.
Looks like you're letting us 'digg' our fave software. If you do, please consider a separate number, maybe in parentheses, showing the number of people who reviewed the app, with the average rating in stars
For example, if there are 32 'diggs' on an app that was reviewed 7 times with an average rating of 4:
32 (7/4*)
I know exactly what it is:
Overhyped vaporware.
nick v: Nope, not quite. Keep trying.
Hmmmm... you're selling the site to new owners, they're re-launching with a new design and using a new rating system similar to iUseThis.com.
Cmon, tell me what I win!!!!
;-P
A surprise for the devs as well as site users, Joel?
Looking forward to it :-)

Looks very much like a slider - perhaps counting sales of something?
I'm thinking... a shopping cart system for easy/seamless/1-click purchase of shareware hosted on the site?
It's an app bundle. We're up to you...
---from some angry guy over at the MacHeist community whom would like to kill you for stealing out idea.
A marker for how many bundles have been sold?
@ "angry guy from macheist community":
Calm down now, this isn't war. And be careful with what you say.

"stealing out [sic] idea"
Oh right, like nobody EVER sold a bunch of software as a package before MacHeist!
Plugh
I hope this zero will be an income of all greedy overhypers.
Something to use up more dock space, hmm I wonder if it's a Tiger equivalent to Leopards Stacks¿¿¿??
